How can I change or delete my data?

How can I change my data?

You can change the following data yourself under My DAAD:

  • title
  • first name
  • surname
  • preferred language
  • password.

After you have logged in, you can find the button to access your profile in the top right of the menu. Select Personal data.

Other profile data might also be stored under the individual DAAD services, such as the application portal. Bring up the application portal to amend your data there.

How can I change my email address?

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. But we are working on a solution. Please contact us via the contact form if your email address has changed.

How can I reset my password?

You’ve forgotten your password? To receive a new password, you need to have access to your email account. Open the following page and follow the instructions:

  • First enter your email address.
  • Then enter the verfication code which has been sent to your email account. The code is valid for five minutes. In case you did not receive the email, you can have the verification code sent once again. Please make sure to check your spam and junk folders.
  • Afterwards you can set a new password and commit it.

Or just open the My DAAD homepage and click the Login button in the top right and then Forgot your Password?. You will receive an email with further instructions for resetting your password.

How can I delete my profile?

If you would like to delete your profile, just send us a delete request via the contact form.
